Women Career Programs
Encouraging women to seek elective offices: as against the present situation, where majority of women in public offices are appointees, we makes effort to identify women with leadership potentials in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria as well as other African countries to nurture their skills and encourage them to seek elective offices especially at the local levels. We educates women folks to believe in themselves and give support to women standing elections, including raising funds to support their campaign.
Charity Homes Visits
We make it as a duty every month to visit at least 4-5 charity homes like motherless babies homes, Orphanage homes, Elderly homes, Special need children homes( Children with disabilities), Home for Blind etc.

End Domestic & Gender-based Violence Against Women & Girls
Gender-based violence against women and girls is a global human rights crisis with severe, long-lasting physical, economic, and psychological repercussions, inhibiting their full participation in society. In Africa, it constitutes approximately 80% of all violations. At WCRLO, we combat this issue through aggressive human rights sensitization, awareness programs, and community-level engagement, recognizing that many are unaware of their rights or where to seek help when those rights are violated. We’re deeply committed to providing free legal aid and counseling to female victims of violence and child abuse, offering legal representation, sending invitations to alleged abusers, drafting petitions, accompanying victims to the police, and facilitating bail. Over the past six years, we’ve extended vital support to more than 85 women, children, and young girls, catalyzing positive change in their lives.
War Against Child Abuse & Violence
At WCRLO, we are staunch advocates against child abuse and violence, encompassing physical harm, maltreatment, child marriage, labor, and trafficking. We recognize that sexual and physical abuses are grave offenses frequently perpetrated by parents, relatives, neighbors, or strangers. Our mission is to pursue justice for every child, regardless of the perpetrator, because we believe that every child deserves love, care, education, security, and a nurturing environment. We step in whenever these essentials are violated. Despite international and national legislation emphasizing the role of the child’s immediate family as the primary caregiver, many children are trapped in abusive households. For these victims, the scars left by such abuse often persist, even with psychological counseling. That’s why, at WCRLO, we offer free counseling and legal services, including one-on-one and group counseling, aimed at empowering survivors to view themselves as just that – survivors – and draw strength from one another’s experiences.
War Against Gender Inequality & Discrimination in Africa
WCRLO champions gender equality as a basic right for all, emphasizing its critical role in protecting children and realizing a world where every child enjoys a healthy, educated, and safe upbringing. Gender inequality, rooted in childhood, particularly impacts girls, denying them opportunities and subjecting them to violence and discrimination. Our non-governmental organization tirelessly advocates for equal rights, acknowledging that gender discrimination persists from early life and hinders childhood experiences. Gender-based violence, child marriage, and disparities in education persistently affect girls. It’s a collective mission to break these barriers, as every child, irrespective of gender, deserves an equal chance to thrive, and a more equitable world benefits us all.
