Education is the ultimate tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and driving national growth.

True empowerment means ensuring that no child—regardless of tribe, religion, or background—is left behind, as basic education is the foundation of a civil and prosperous.

Program Financial Operations

Since its inception in 2018, the KECS Educational Program has provided a vital lifeline for children who dropped out or faced staying home due to unpaid school fees. The program primarily supports vulnerable demographics, including children from low-income families, orphans, motherless children, widows’ children, and girls facing gender discrimination.

  • Proven Impact: Over 79 students have successfully completed their education through the program, and more than 54 beneficiaries are currently enrolled across various Nigerian primary and secondary schools.
  • Cost-Sharing Model: To maximize reach, the program occasionally partners with parents by covering 70% of the tuition, leaving the family to provide the remaining balance.
  • Strict Academic Deadlines: Partner schools strictly require 70% to 100% upfront fee payment before allowing children into the classroom, offering little to no grace period.

Current Need for Support

Sustaining this capital-intensive initiative has become increasingly challenging. Due to global and local economic downturns in Nigeria, many existing sponsors are struggling to maintain their monthly contributions. Without timely funding, strict school policies force institutions to send these vulnerable children home until balances are cleared. Urgent corporate and individual support is needed to keep these children in school and secure their future.
