Women for Civil Rights & Liberties Organization (WCRLO) is an independent, impartial, non-governmental organization established in 2016 and registered under Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in 2019 with the mission of working for the disadvantaged Women & young Children, highly committed in promoting their human rights and as well empowering and removing any barriers that can prevent them from reaching the life goals.
We’re super grateful to everyone who supported our food sharing program for the widows today!
On behalf of the team, we want to say a big thank you!
Today, December 25th, 2025, we shared food stuffs with 57 amazing widows. Due to personal reasons, some of them preferred not to appear on camera, and we totally respected their wishes.
Thanks again for your love and support!
Merry Christmas to you all.
Our commitment at WCRLO is to empower every child through education. We firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future for all children, regardless of their background or circumstances. We work tirelessly to ensure that every child has access to quality education, breaking down barriers that hinder their learning and personal growth. Through various initiatives, including scholarships, mentorship programs, and community outreach, we strive to create a world where every child can realize their full potential through education. Join us in our mission to provide education empowerment for every child and build a brighter tomorrow for all.
At the heart of our mission is bringing hope to children who need it most. Over the past years since 2019 we’ve rolled up our sleeves and taken our outreach straight to orphanage homes across the country, delivering essential supplies that make a real difference.
These visits aren’t just about handing out items—they’re about building relationships, sharing smiles, and showing that someone cares.
Thanks to the generosity of volunteers and donors, we’ve been able to reach dozens of homes, touching the lives of hundreds of children.
Ready to join us? Whether you want to donate, volunteer, or spread the word, we’d love to have you on board.
Our Women Economic Empowerment Program is dedicated to creating pathways to financial independence and self-reliance for women. We firmly believe that economic empowerment is a fundamental tool for advancing gender equality and fostering inclusive communities. Through skill-building workshops, entrepreneurship training, access to microloans, and mentorship initiatives, we empower women to take charge of their economic futures. By supporting our program, you join us in the mission to break down barriers, uplift women, and build a world where women have equal opportunities to thrive in the workforce and beyond. Together, we can drive lasting change and create a more equitable society for all.
We believe that every girl deserves to reach her full potential, regardless of her socio-economic background. That’s why we launched the “Gift Her A Pad” initiative in 2021, aimed at providing sanitary pads to girls from poor homes and house girls who cannot afford them.
WCRLO is dedicated to protecting children from abuse and violence, spanning physical harm, child marriage, labor, trafficking, and emotional abuse. We advocate for every child’s right to love, care, education, and justice, taking action against offenders and offering vital support, recognizing the lasting scars abuse leaves. Despite the significance of the “primary caregiver” in a child’s life, we acknowledge that some families become perpetrators. Committed to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, we provide free counseling and legal services, offering personalized one-on-one and group counseling to empower survivors. Join us in our mission to end child abuse and transform lives.
Our Health Treatment Support Projects are at the forefront of our commitment to enhancing access to quality healthcare for all. We believe that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the right to proper medical care. With these projects, we strive to bridge gaps in healthcare by providing financial assistance, medical supplies, and access to essential treatments.
We aim to ensure that no one is denied the care they need due to financial constraints. By supporting our Health Treatment Support Projects, you become a vital part of our mission to empower individuals to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. Join us in making quality healthcare a reality for everyone.
Gender-based violence against women and girls is a pervasive global human rights violation, obstructing their full participation in society and causing profound physical, economic, and psychological harm. This issue, encompassing domestic violence, sexual and gender-based abuse, neglect, and exploitation, constitutes a staggering 80% of violations in Africa.
At WCRLO, our unwavering commitment shines through extensive human rights awareness campaigns, community engagement efforts, and empowering individuals with knowledge about their rights and avenues for redress. We provide free legal aid and counseling to female victims of violence and child abuse, including legal representation, issuing invitations to alleged abusers, petition drafting, police station accompaniment, and bail support. Over the past six years, we’ve assisted over 85 women, children, and young girls, catalyzing positive transformations in their lives.
Dear esteemed Donors, partners, and wells wishers, We, the Women for Civil Rights & Liberties Organization, extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for making our Easter
