Women for Civil Rights & Liberties Organization (WCRLO)
Women for Civil Rights & Liberties Organization (WCRLO) is a non-governmental organization that was started by a group of human rights activists in 2016 but registered in 2019 under Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). It is a non-governmental organization that is centered on social justice, women’s rights, children rights and their developments.
Women for Civil Rights & Liberties Organization is established in 2019 to support the most disadvantaged marginalized women to know their rights, earn money, improve their safety and well-being, influence decisions in their home and community, and connect to networks for support. By utilizing skills, knowledge, and resources, women will be able to create sustainable change for themselves,their families, and communities.
We at WCRLO strive to create a world where all women will be safe to determine the course of their lives & reach their full potentials. It is only when every woman has full access to their rights without discrimination or stigimazation like – sexual rights, freedom from violence, access to education, and maternal choice rights etc – will true equality exist.
Moreover, when women are treated right and empowered, they in return reinvest it in their families, their communities, and their countries to make the whole world better — for everyone.
WCRLO believes that is only when women and girls have full access to their rights – from equal pay and land ownership rights to sexual rights, freedom from violence, access to education, and maternal health rights – will true equality exist. Only when women have taken leadership and peacemaking roles and have an equal political voice will economies and countries be transformed and only then will all women and girls have their self-determination they are entitled to.
OUR MISSION:
Our mission is to aspire breakthroughs in the way the word treats women and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives. To attain gender equality against Today’s Male dominating flattering society of Africa. Our focus to put utmost efforts on promoting the social, educational, economically and social development of women and girls including advocating for women’s rights ,eliminating discrimination against women and leadership skills, promoting their participation in the decisions that affect their lives, and amplifying their voices for peace and security at the national and global levels.

Our goal is to advocate eradicate poverty, increase gender equality in education, work, political representation, ending gender-based violence, eliminating child marriage and female genital mutilation, and ensuring access to sexual and reproductive health, equal access to education and expanding women’s economic opportunities.
OUR OBJECTIVES:
Our principal objectives at WCRLO is to advocate, protect and fight for justice for every woman or child whose rights has been abused or infringed in any way. To also eradicate the endless cycle of poverty by creating opportunities for a long-term economic growth, career pursuits & dependable future in many families that can help as many women and children as possible to a better life.
To advance the establishment of constitutional democratic dispensation as it relates to women & children in Nigeria through non-violent means.
To stand for the protection of the fundamental rights of other citizens, such as the freedom of conscience, expression, association and assembly.
To initiate and conduct public dialogues, discussions and debates on relevant issues to advance public education about all aspects of democratic rights and systems.
To publish important research papers on democracy, women and child rights with the aim of promoting peace and friendly environment.
To closely follow and collaborate with other humanitarian organizations to advocate the safety and security of women & children all over African countries.
To establish relations with national and international organizations, governmental and non-governmental organizations and prominent individuals in order to mobilize support to accomplish the mission of WCRLO Movement.
To promote the establishment of associations such as women, youth, business, professional and social groups.
To promote cultural values of Africa.
To assist every child to obtain basic education and the related opportunities, and to access provision of other social services.
